- MailMarshal Cloud (SEG Cloud)
- SQM Single Sign On
Question:
- How do I automate login for SQM users?
Procedure:
Username Options
The following options are available on the Configuration page of the Customer Console:
- Note: This feature may not be supported by all Identity Providers. If it causes an error to be returned from the Identity Provider, disable it.
SSO Domain URL
You can provide a URL to users that encodes the domain to authenticate against. When users access SQM with this URL, they will bypass the SQM login page. They might still have to authenticate with the Identity Provider.
This feature can be used to minimize the number of times a user is required to log in.
Caution:
- This feature may not be supported by all Identity Providers. If it causes an error to be returned from the Identity Provider, disable it.
- If the domain is not valid for SQM, or SSO is not enabled, the user will be redirected to the SQM login page.
To use this feature:
- In MailMarshal Cloud templates, you can append /SSO/ and your domain (dots replaced by underscore) to the {SsmUrl} variable, for example:
{SsmUrl}/SSO/example_com - Outside of templates, the URL can be constructed as follows:
- The SQM URL for your region
- followed by /SSO/
- followed by your domain (dots replaced by underscore)
- For example: https://console.au.mailmarshal.cloud/SQM/SSO/example_com
- Ensure exactly one / between SQM and SSO
- Make sure you use the correct region: US, EU or AU
